Tamil Nadu Cement Manufacturing Plants

Tamil Nadu is the foundation of Chettinad Cement’s production strength, housing multiple high-capacity integrated plants.

Puliyur Plant, Karur District

Located in Puliyur, Karur district of Tamil Nadu, this unit began with 1.1 MTPA cement production capacity. Through modernization and the addition of a grinding unit, capacity was increased to 1.37 MTPA. It remains one of the company’s key production centers.

Karikkali Plant, Dindigul District

Situated in Karikkali village, Dindigul district, this plant started in 2001 with 0.9 MTPA capacity. A second grinding unit added in 2008 increased capacity to 1.37 MTPA. A third line commissioned later raised the total capacity to 3.5 MTPA, making it a major manufacturing hub.

Ariyalur Plant

Established in Keelapaluvur village, Ariyalur district during 2008–2009, this facility has a total production capacity of 3.5 MTPA. Its location in a limestone-rich region supports raw material consistency and high-strength cement production.

Karnataka Integrated Plant

Kallur Plant, Kalaburagi District

Chettinad Cement commissioned a greenfield integrated cement plant in Kallur village, Chincholi Taluk, Kalaburagi district of Karnataka during 2011–2012. This facility has a production capacity of 2.0 MTPA and serves Karnataka and central Indian markets efficiently.

Andhra Pradesh Manufacturing Facilities

Dachepalli Plant, Guntur District

The integrated plant at Dachepalli village, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh was established with a cement production capacity of 2.0 MTPA. It strengthens Chettinad Cement’s presence in the southeastern market.

Visakhapatnam Grinding Unit

Commissioned during 2012–2013 in Visakhapatnam, this standalone grinding unit has a production capacity of 2.0 MTPA, improving supply efficiency along the eastern corridor.

Subsidiary: Bhavya Cements Private Limited

This subsidiary operates an integrated cement plant in Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of 1.4 MTPA, further expanding Chettinad Cement’s production footprint.

Maharashtra Grinding Unit

Solapur Grinding Unit

Installed in Solapur, Maharashtra in 2016, this unit began with 1.0 MTPA capacity. In 2019, production capacity was increased to 2.0 MTPA, supporting western India’s urban and industrial growth.

Telangana Manufacturing Presence

Anjani Portland Cement Limited
